Matt Irwin (born November 29, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Worcester Sharks in the American Hockey League. He was named best defenseman in the British Columbia Hockey League Coastal Conference two years in a row, 2007 and 2008, while playing for the Nanaimo Clippers.[1]
